After Israeli strike, Turkey denies ‘frivolous allegations’ about planned troop deployment to Syria
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleTurkey rejects Israeli allegations that it poses a threat by preparing to send troops to a base in Syria, where a military base was hit in a strike by Israel.
“The frivolous allegations put forward by the Israeli Prime Minister’s office aim to legitimize Israel’s unlawful airstrikes targeting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Turkey’s Communications Directorate says in a statement quoted by the Anadolu state news agency.
