Final turnout was 69.4%, higher than April vote
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIt’s official: The turnout in Tuesday’s election was higher than April, defying predictions of a depressed showing as Israel held its unprecedented second election in five months.
The Central Elections Committee says the final figure, as of 10 p.m. when polls closed, is 69.4%.
That’s a 1-point increase from the previous election in April, but lower than the previous 2015 national vote (72.36%)
