Israel will continue to act against those who threaten it, Katz vows after Beirut strike
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsrael will continue to take action against those who threaten it, Defense Minister Israel Katz vows after the strike in Beirut today targeting Hezbollah military chief Haytham Ali Tabatabai.
“We will continue to act forcefully to prevent any threat to the residents of the north and the State of Israel,” Katz says in a statement released by his office.
“Whoever raises a hand against Israel — that hand will be cut off,” Katz says, adding that, together with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he is “determined to continue the policy of maximum enforcement in Lebanon and everywhere else.”
He says he will not allow Israel to return to the situation that existed prior to October 7, 2023.
