Former minister Matan Kahana decries what he calls “Haredi control over the Likud primary” and the lack of female representation in the governing party as the final results of the vote are released.

“I think that Likud voters also know that their party is no longer a liberal party,” Kahana, a member of Gadi Eisenkot’s opposition Yashar party, says.

“In what kind of liberal party are there only two women in the top 20 spots?” he says, commenting on the lack of female representation in the final results.
