Netanyahu to visit Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s historic home, in ‘special gesture’ from Trump

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit Monticello, the historic home of the third US president, Thomas Jefferson, before flying back to Israel, his office says.

The visit is a “special gesture” from US President Donald Trump, says the Prime Minister’s Office, without elaborating on what the gesture is.

The site is a 2.5-hour drive from Washington, DC. Netanyahu will fly there.
