Police arrest a 77-year-old man on suspicion of homicide, after a 74-year-old man was found dead at a medical facility in Pardes Hanna.

Paramedics came upon the victim’s wounded body this afternoon and declared him dead at the scene. He was found in a psychiatric facility in the town, according to the Kan public broadcaster. It is unclear how exactly the elderly man was killed.

The suspect, a resident of Hadera, was located within the facility and arrested for interrogation by Menashe region police officers, law enforcement announces.

Police say they will decide whether to request to keep the suspect in custody following his interrogation, “in accordance with the needs and findings of the investigation.”
