Tel Aviv University announces that it will award full scholarships to 180 undergraduate students who served over 200 days in the reserves in the past year.

New students who will begin their studies and students who are already studying for an undergraduate degree at the university will be eligible.

Over 8,000 male and female TAU students, in all faculties, have been recruited for reserve duty, the largest number among academic institutions in Israel.

The academic scholarships are intended to facilitate the transition of reserve soldiers from the battlefield to the classroom and to free up the students’ time for studies.

“Since the outbreak of the war, the university has distributed thousands of scholarships to reserve soldiers for a total of over 40 million shekels, for assistance with dormitory rent, remedial classes, psychological services, and more,” the university says.
