Tourism Ministry to fund hotels in West Bank
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAs part of the cabinet’s NIS 82 million ($21 million) financial aid package for the West Bank, the Tourism Ministry earmarks NIS 5.5 million ($1.4 million) to fund grants that will cover 20 percent of hotel construction expenses.
“The administrative grant given to the Judea and Samraia settlements will initially be equivalent to that given in areas within the Green Line, as they appear on the map of the Law to Encourage Capital Investment. To date, these settlements did not qualify for similar grants,” a statement from the Tourism Ministry says.
