Transportation minister blames AG for public transportation woes

Transportation Minister Miri Regev blames recent public transportation delays on Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara, with Regev claiming the attorney general was refusing to outlaw road blockages by anti-government and Haredi protesters.
“If the attorney general had not authorized [them] to block roads, the buses would have arrived on time,” Regev says at a press conference.
Commuters have been facing significant disruptions this week as Israel Railways work to repair damage caused by a freight train to several hundred meters of electric cable infrastructure.
