Woman dies in hospital after medical emergency during missile attacks

A woman in her 60s who was taken to the ER at Ichilov Medical Center suffering from shortness of breath during the recent rocket attacks died this morning.

The Health Ministry says that 456 people have been evacuated to hospitals, of whom 86 are currently either hospitalized or in the ER since the start of Roaring Lion.

One person is in serious condition, but not as a direct result of a missile strike; 19 are moderate, 92 are in good condition, three are suffering from anxiety, and one is undergoing medical evaluation.

The ministry asks those who live near senior citizens to assist them and practice getting to the protected area as early as possible to prevent accidents that may result from falling on the way to the protected areas.

Also, ERAN Emotional First Aid reports a 40% increase in calls since the start of the war, with most of the callers dealing with feelings of anxiety and stress. The organization says that it also provides support in five languages for new immigrants to Israel: English, Russian, French, Spanish, and Amharic.
