Yesh Atid MK: Is PM lying about having a government?

Yesh Atid MK Haim Yalin implies that Prime Minister Netanyahu may have lied to President Reuven Rivlin when he told him that he succeeded in building a coalition last week.

“Mr. Chairman,” Yalin says during a speech at a Knesset filibuster on Monday evening, “you recently told new MKs we have a problem in the state of Israel — that the public does not believe the Knesset. Today I want to say to you, Mr. Chairman, the public really does not believe the Knesset. And why would it, when the government of Israel made laws and now a year, a year and a half later, it seeks to change them? How can this be, what kind of seesaw is this?”

Yalin continues: “Mr. Chairman, you know that by law there is a week to announce a government. The head of government sits there and still has no government. Could it be that the prime minister was not speaking the whole truth when he told the president he had a government? I cannot see this government.”
