2 rock-throwing incidents in J’lem; none hurt

Several Palestinian youths hurled rocks at Border Police officers in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan, after a Jewish man accidentally ran over a young female resident and injured her lightly. The officers dispersed the crowd and detained one person for disturbing the peace.

Later this evening, rocks were thrown at the light rail as it was passing near the Shuafat refugee camp in the northeastern part of Jerusalem. No one was hurt but the trail car sustained some damage. Police were looking for the perpetrators.
