Portland Trailblazers forward Deni Avdija has received the seventh most votes among Western Conference players for the upcoming NBA All-Star Game, according to the initial voting results among fans, putting him ahead of LeBron James and numerous other perennial all stars.
Avdija, who earlier this month passed Omri Casspi to become Israel’s all-time leading NBA scorer, would be the basketball league’s first Israeli player to ever make an all-star team.
Luka Dončić and Giannis Antetokounmpo lead their conferences in the first fan returns in NBA All-Star Voting 2026.
Fans (50% of the vote) join NBA players (25%) and a media panel (25%) in selecting five players in each conference honored as starters.
