Man killed, 2 women hurt in overnight home fire in Netanya
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA man in his 50s was killed in a fire that broke out overnight in an apartment building in Netanya, firefighters announce.
The blaze also badly injured a woman in her 60s and lightly injured a woman in her 50s who inhaled smoke.
Firefighters and paramedics found two of the victims unconscious on the building’s eighth floor, where the fire had spread. All three were rescued from the fire and taken to the city’s Laniado Hospital for treatment.
The man, who had been in critical condition, was soon pronounced dead by medical staff at the hospital.
Fire officials say that the circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
