Man killed near Nazareth, in 6th fatality in Arab community since Sunday
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA man is gunned down in the Nazareth area early this morning, the sixth person from Israel’s Arab community to be killed over the past day-plus.
The man, 30, is gunned down in his car and paramedics declare him dead on the scene, according to Hebrew reports.
Another man, 50, was seriously injured in a shooting in the central Arab city of Barta’a last night, the Magen David Adom emergency medical service says.
The incidents follow the killings of five people in shootings and a car bombing across Israel on Sunday.
The deaths are attributed to gangland killings and family disputes. Today’s shooting took the Arab community’s toll this year in an ongoing spate of violence to at least 142, according to a watchdog.
