PM has told coalition partners he does not intend to break up bloc for Gantz – report

The Prime Minister’s Office has assured Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition partners that he has no intention of breaking up his right-wing bloc in order to bring Blue and White-National Unity and its leader Benny Gantz into the coalition, Kan reports.

Gantz yesterday proposed the formation of an emergency unity government with Netanyahu and other opposition parties for the purpose of reaching a deal to return the hostages and end the war in Gaza.

Kan says there were some concerns within the coalition that Gantz could join the government at their expense, leading Netanyahu to convey that this was not on the table.
