Vehicle flips over after ramming into tree; child’s parents moderately injured

A 7-year-old boy was killed Tuesday in a car accident in the northern city of Haifa, police said.

According to police, the boy was in the car with his parents when it crashed into a tree and flipped over.

Police said they were investigating the circumstances of the crash.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service said that first responders found the boy in critical condition with a head wound and evacuated him to the city’s Rambam Medical Center after providing treatment at the scene.

The boy later died at the hospital, police said.

Magen David Adom said that the parents were moderately injured.
