IDF soldiers carried out measurements overnight Thursday at the home of a Palestinian terrorist near Jenin in preparation for the house’s demolition.

Infantry and Engineering Corps troops accompanied by Civil Administration officials entered the village of Kafr Raba southeast of Jenin late Thursday to inspect the home of Ali Hassan Ahmad Albazour, who carried out the car-ramming attack at the Hawara checkpoint earlier in the day.

One soldier was lightly wounded in that attack south of Nablus, the army said. Albazour was fatally shot by troops at the scene.

He received treatment on scene from IDF medics before being evacuated to Petach Tikva’s Belinson hospital with wounds to his extremities, the Magen David Adom rescue service said.

Also Thursday, IDF forces arrested two terror suspects overnight in the northern West Bank, the army said.

In Kafin, southwest of Jenin, troops arrested a Hamas operative. A second man was taken for questioning in Balata, southeast of Nablus.
