Beaches in south closed, hospitals moving patients to fortified areas

Authorities continue to implement protective measures amid fears of reprisal strikes from terror groups in the Gaza Strip.
Roads surrounding the Gaza Strip are closed and beaches in Ashkelon and Ashdod are shuttered to the public.
Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba has begun moving patients to fortified areas.
Several cities announce they are opening public bomb shelters.
