Biden wraps up 3 hours of meetings with Saudi king, crown prince

JEDDAH — US President Joe Biden has left the Salam Royal Palace after three hours of meetings with Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

He is heading back to the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Jeddah, capping off a long day that included stops in East Jerusalem and Bethlehem before he flew directly from Ben Gurion Aiport to Jeddah.

The president will participate in the GCC+3 summit with the leaders of nine other Arab countries tomorrow morning in addition to holding separate bilateral meetings with the leaders of Egypt, the UAE and Iraq.

He will fly home to Washington in the late afternoon.
