Herzog meets ex-UN Mideast envoy Mladenov, who is set to serve on Gaza Board of Peace

President Isaac Herzog meets former UN envoy to the Middle East Nikolay Mladenov, who is expected to serve as the US-backed Board of Peace representative on the ground in Gaza, The Times of Israel has learned.

Mladenov will also meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today.

US President Donald Trump will likely announce the Board of Peace next week.
