The so-called Joint Operations Room of various Palestinian terror factions in the Gaza Strip says Israel and its leaders will “pay the price” for airstrikes this morning targeting senior members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

In a brief statement, the collective, which includes both Hamas and Islamic Jihad, says it mourns the 13 Palestinians killed in the strikes.

It adds that Israel bears full responsibility for “this cowardly crime,” and that Israel’s leaders will “pay the price.”
