Key road near Eilat blocked due to floods
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA key road linking the southern city of Eilat with the rest of the country has been blocked due to flooding, as the desert region is pounded with heavy rain and hail for the first time this season.
Route 90 is closed blocked to traffic in both directions between Kibbutz Be’er Ora and the northern entrance to Eilat, police say in a statement.
Officers are at the scene to redirect the traffic, the statement says.
