Kyiv says some ‘positive results’ at talks; Russia: Expectations ‘not fulfilled’

Russia and Ukraine’s delegations have ended a third round of conflict talks.

A Ukrainian negotiator says the talks brought some progress on opening up humanitarian corridors.

“We have achieved some positive results concerning the logistics of humanitarian corridors,” Kyiv’s presidential advisor Mikhailo Podolyak tweets.

But Russia’s lead negotiator says the talks did not meet expectations.

“Our expectations from negotiations were not fulfilled. We hope that next time we will be able to take a more significant step forward,” Russian delegation head Vladimir Medinsky says in televised remarks.
