Prime Minister Yair Lapid calls Public Security Minister Omer Barlev and Israel Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai to thank them for their efforts during US President Joe Biden’s visit.

“The prime minister thanked Israel Police for their hard and successful work throughout ‘Operation Blue Shield 3’ to secure the visit of US President Joe Biden,” the Prime Minister’s Office says in a statement.

“The prime minister also wishes to thank the hundreds of men and women of the Shin Bet security agency who took part in the operation to secure the president,” the statement says.

“You accompany me every day, the president of the United States also got to see how professional you are,” Lapid says.
