In prepared remarks at the start of the security cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel is “ready for any possibility” as it gears up for an expected response to the killing of three senior Palestinian Islamic Jihad members in Gaza.

Netanyahu says he and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant ordered the assassinations after last week’s rocket fire from the coastal enclave, claiming the strikes “amputated the organization’s leadership in Gaza.”

“Our principle is clear: Whoever harms us, we harm them, and with greater force. Our long arm reaches every terrorist at the time and place of our choosing,” the premier says.

“We are in the middle of a campaign and we are ready for any possibility. I advise our enemies: Don’t mess with us,” he adds.
