Pakistan’s army chief to visit Tehran today amid push for US-Iran deal

Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir will travel to Tehran today as part of ongoing Pakistani mediation in talks and consultations between Tehran and Washington over the Iran war, Iran’s ISNA news agency says.

Pakistan’s interior minister arrived in Tehran yesterday for the second time in less than a week as Islamabad continues its push to reach an agreement between the US and Iran more than a month into a tenuous ceasefire between the two sides.
