The two Islamic State-inspired terrorists who killed two police officers in Hadera earlier this week initially planned to commit their attack elsewhere, and before the deadly attack in Beersheba by another man affiliated with the jihadist group, Channel 12 news reports.
It was initially thought that the attack in Beersheba last Tuesday fueled the two Umm al-Fahm cousins to commit their attack on Sunday.
Channel 12 says they planned to commit a shooting attack in a different northern Israel city last week.
En route, for unknown reasons, they returned back home, the network says.
