UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Tor Wennesland condemns the “unacceptable” killing of civilians in Israeli strikes in Gaza overnight.

Wennesland notes that in addition to the three Islamic Jihad leaders targeted, the strikes also killed “a doctor, five women and four children.”

“I condemn the deaths of civilians in the Israeli airstrikes. This is unacceptable,” he says.
