Virus quarantine to be shortened from 14 days to 12 days — Health Ministry

Health Minister Yuli Edelstein announces a pilot program that will see the mandatory 14-day coronavirus quarantine shortened to just 12 days.

Edelstein has made the decision following consultations with ministry professionals, the Health Ministry says in a statement.

The outline for the pilot program will be drafted in the coming days. It will be in effect until the end of 2020.

“Our goal is to enable maximal freedom with minimal danger to public health,” Edelstein says.
