A false rocket siren was heard in Tel Aviv and a neighboring city on Saturday in what the IDF said was the result of a “technical malfunction.”
The air raid sirens also wailed at Camp Glilot, a major army base the central city of Ramat Hasharon.
It was the second false alarm of the day.
Earlier Saturday, sirens warning of an impending rocket attack blared in communities in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council in southern Israel, near the Gaza Strip border fence. That was also declared a mistake.
According to the IDF, no rockets were fired from the Strip on Saturday and the siren was a false alarm.
