A motorcyclist was killed in a car accident on Route 5 in central Israel Sunday morning after he collided with a truck.

Magen David Adom ambulance crew made prolonged efforts to resuscitate the man, said to be in his forties, but ultimately declared him dead at the scene, Ynet reported.
In an another incident Sunday, a woman in her seventies died of her injuries in Laniado Hospital after being hit by a car in Netanya.
