Visiting Israeli firebombing victim, PM calls for condemnation
Netanyahu, President Rivlin promise to fight terror, regardless of nationality, after seeing Jewish mother-of-three in the hospital

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin separately visited on Tuesday a Jewish mother of three injured in a firebombing attack in northern Jerusalem the night before.
Inbar Azrak, 27, was hospitalized in moderate condition with burns at Hadassah Medical Center at Ein Kerem following Monday night’s attack, when a firebomb was thrown at the car in which she was riding with her husband. Her husband was slightly injured; the car was torched.
“Last Friday, I visited baby Ali’s brother, who was injured by a firebomb that was thrown at his house by those who commit acts of terrorism against Arabs,” Netanyahu said, referring to the July 31 attack on the West Bank home of a Palestinian family that killed an 18-month-old boy, Ali Saad Dawabsha, and severely wounded his 4-year-old brother and their parents.
The attack is believed to be an act of Jewish terrorism.
“I have just visited with Inbar,” Netanyahu said, “a young woman who was injured by a firebomb that was thrown by those who commit acts of terrorism against Jews.”
Rivlin also visited Azrak Tuesday evening. “Despite the difficulty of her injuries,” he said, “she explained to me how her heart has been warmed by the outpouring of love and support she has received.”
He added, “I said to Inbar that we will stop the terror, and the terrorists, our enemies, who harmed her and the dear people who went to her aid. This is our duty.
Earlier Netanyahu made a similar promise.
“Terrorism is terrorism is terrorism. Our policy is zero tolerance for terrorism, and it does not matter where it comes from. We condemn it and we fight it to the same degree,” he said.
“Miraculously,” Rivlin said, “the terror attack yesterday did not claim a life, but this does not alter its seriousness. The State of Israel must show an iron fist against those who wish it, and its citizens, ill. Israel must ensure that its citizens are able to live in safety, in every part of the land. I wish Inbar and all those injured a full and swift recovery.”
Netanyahu called for the same response by the rest of the world to this most recent act of terror as there was for the last one. “Several days ago the international community joined in my condemnation of terrorism directed against Arabs, and I expect that they will similarly join in vis-a-vis terrorism directed against Jews,” he said.
