63% of religious hate crimes in US last year targeted Jews — FBI data

FBI data shows that Jews were targeted in 1,528 hate crimes in the US in 2025.
The figure amounts to 63% of all religion-based hate crimes in the US last year, the Anti-Defamation League says in its response to the data.
There were 410 fewer antisemitic hate crimes last year when compared to 2024, part of an overall decline of hate crime incidents in 2025.
The number of antisemitic hate crimes last year was still the third-highest on record, the ADL analysis says.
Jews, who make up around two percent of the population, were targeted in 14% of all hate crimes in the US last year.
