Fight against militant Islam will take decades — Netanyahu
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe prime minister says eventually goodness will prevail over darkness, but warns again of “radical regimes getting weapons of mass death.”
“In the long-run, militant Islam will succumb to forces of modernity but it will take many decades,” he says, adding that meanwhile, we need to make sure millions don’t die.
Netanyahu says it’s possible to fight the threat, if we are clear-eyed, resolute and strong, make alliances and “look reality in the eye.”
He adds that everybody needs alliances.
