Hamas member: Group can move about Gaza entirely underground
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA detained member of the Hamas military wing, who was arrested after crossing into Israel from Gaza, tells investigators that the terror group has established an extensive network of tunnels used to move fighters around Gaza entirely underground.
According to the Shin Bet security service, the 17-year-old Hamas member says the tunnels even have rooms for taking breaks.
The teen, who has worked on the tunnels, was detained in May during a joint operation by the Israel Police, IDF and Shin Bet.
