Is PM rethinking his address to Congress?

Netanyahu is considering canceling his speech to Congress, a source with ties to the Prime Minister’s Office tells the Reuters news agency.

According to the source, Netanyahu is considering making his speech to AIPAC the centerpiece of his visit, or speaking to Congress but behind closed doors. The source says that Netanyahu discussed the issue with top members of Likud and received differing opinions on how he should act.

There was no official statement by the Prime Minister’s Office on the matter. Israel Radio reports that as of Monday evening, the prime minister has not changed his plans.
