Lebanon health ministry says 2,294 killed in Israeli attacks since March 2

Lebanon’s health ministry says that at least 2,294 people have been killed and 7,544 wounded in Israeli attacks since March 2, adding that the toll remains non-final pending debris removal, body recovery and DNA identification.

The ministry says 100 paramedics and health workers were among the dead, while nearly a quarter of those killed were women, children and medics, underscoring the heavy civilian toll from the fighting.

US President Donald Trump announced the 10-day ceasefire agreement between the governments of Lebanon and Israel on Thursday, fueling hopes that the parallel war between the United States and Iran could be nearing an end.
