PM calls for digital revolution as economic catalyst

Netanyahu, citing Schmidt, says Israel’s ability to drive innovation is not a vision for ten years, but for 50 years.

He adds that roads and rails must be built to support economic growth, but says the digital revolution is also important, and calls for everybody to be linked up — every Arab and Druze village — more quickly.

“In order to complete this revolution we have to connect every child in Israel, every family, to tomorrow, which is already the present,” he says. The government, he adds, is investing great sums in education.
