Netanyahu sends condolences to family of IDF commander killed fighting in Gaza

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sends condolences to the family of Col. Ehsan Daqsa, the commander of the IDF’s 401st Armored Brigade who was killed fighting in Gaza today.

“Ehsan was a hero of Israel, a warrior and a commander. A role model for the covenant of life with the Druze community,” he says in a statement, also paying tribute to other IDF soldiers who died fighting Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon over the past week.

“May our fallen be blessed and be remembered in our hearts always,” he adds.
