New Mossad chief said to order fresh probe into agency’s wartime conduct
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleNew Mossad chief Roman Gofman has ordered a new, comprehensive internal probe of the spy agency’s conduct during the war and surrounding the failures related to the Hamas onslaught of October 7, 2023, Haaretz reports, citing unnamed sources with knowledge of the move.
The report notes that the new probe is not meant to replace several already completed internal inquiries on the subject, and is part of Gofman’s personal learning process as he takes the leadership of the Mossad.
