Police struggle to stop Jerusalem Day marchers entering Damascus Gate

Police officers were struggling to prevent participants of the Jerusalem Day parade from entering Damascus Gate into the Old City, Army Radio says, despite a High Court order to close the gate to marchers at 6:15 p.m.

This route of the parade, which this year comes on the eve of the month-long Muslim festival of Ramadan, includes the Muslim Quarter of the Old City.
