An unnamed Israeli security official claims to Channel 12 news that Israel has killed hundreds of Hamas terror operatives in the ongoing fighting in Gaza.

“Yesterday we carried out at least 20 targeted killings of senior officials. Hamas has hundreds of dead,” the official is quoted saying.

The Hamas-run health ministry a short while ago put the death toll in Gaza during the current hostilities at 119.

The official also says: “We destroyed most of the organization’s rocket production system, we paralyzed the tunnel system, which was its strategic tool, and there are many more [Israeli] accomplishments that they still don’t understand.”
