US President Donald Trump writes: “Everybody is fully aware that Iran will agree to have major weapons inspections in order to ensure ‘nuclear honesty’ long into the future.”
Trump’s Truth Social post apparently refers both to US Vice President JD Vance’s announcement that, in talks over the weekend, Iran agreed to allow UN inspectors back into the country’s nuclear sites, and to Iran’s subsequent denial that it made any new nuclear-related commitments during the talks.
