US House speaker says probe underway into leak of American intel on Israel’s plans for strike on Iran
US House Speaker Mike Johnson says there is an investigation underway into the leak of classified US intelligence documents related to Israel’s preparations for an attack on Iran.
Speaking to CNN, Johnson says: “There’s a classified-level briefing … we are following it closely.”
He does not provide details on the briefing.
Israel is preparing to strike Iran in response to the October 1 ballistic missile attack launched by the Islamic Republic.
