A US federal judge dismisses a lawsuit by US President Donald Trump’s administration that alleged Harvard University failed to protect Jewish and Israeli students from harassment amid anti-Israel protests following the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led onslaught in Israel and subsequent war in Gaza.
In his ruling, US District Judge Richard Stearns in Boston says the Trump administration’s lawsuit, filed in March, did not plausibly show an ongoing violation of federal civil rights law on Harvard’s campus.
