WATCH: Thousands flock to Western Wall on Jerusalem Day

Thousands of Jewish worshipers gather at the Western Wall at the close of Jerusalem Day, which marks the reunification of the city in the 1967 Six Day War.

The worshipers fill the entire prayer section of the Wall, as well as the plaza leading into Judaism’s holiest site.

Some 30,000 people were predicted to attend today’s Jerusalem Day Parade in the Old City, while Israeli officials held a special ceremony at Ammunition Hill, the site of one of the fiercest battles of the 1967 war, and now a national monument.
