Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan cancelled a parliamentary meeting due to health issues, Turkish media outlet Hurriyet Daily News reported Tuesday.
Erdogan was admitted to Ankara’s Ataturk Hospital Tuesday and was later released, after undergoing a thorough examination which determined that he was suffering from a minor cold.
“I will rest at home for a couple of days,” Erdogan assured a crowd of worried reporters on leaving the hospital.
