Two men were injured on Monday evening in a shooting incident at the entrance to the southern Bedouin town of Rahat.

The men, one in his 20s and the other in his 30s, were sitting in a car when the shooting occurred. They were evacuated to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, where they were listed in serious condition.

Police are investigating the circumstances behind the shooting, but have not determined if it was a settling of accounts between criminal gangs, or an honor dispute between families.
