12-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting women in Tel Aviv
Police say they tracked down the boy following multiple complaints; public defender says minor denies the allegations

Police on Wednesday arrested a 12-year-old boy suspected of sexually assaulting several women in Tel Aviv.
The boy has been questioned and a youth court extended his remand until Thursday.
Police said they tracked the boy down following multiple complaints by women who alleged they were assaulted on the street.
A public defender representing the boy said he denied the assault accusations.
“We expect the police to soon finish the investigation, to reduce the continuation of his detention which is traumatic for a young child,” Idit Ken Tzipor was quoted saying by Hebrew media.
